True, it is easy to see it - with the picture being exactly like that. In any other angle, I'm sure it's a perfectly normal kettle.
Apologizing was silly, nobody in their right mind could've suspected them of doing it on purpose. As for pulling the kettle, it might've sold out fast enough as a novelty item, really... though yeah, probably best not to order new ones after that, or to modify them slightly at least.
I really was thinking this was a "Jesus on a piece of toast" type story before I saw the picture. But it does pass my reasonable person test now that I have seen it. I'm sure any attempts to suggest modifications will throw the designer all into a tizzy
