That particular point is absolutely true. Obama's family supported him materially. I don't believe he ever had to get a job to put himself through college or law school. Moreover, he never worked in a traditional job setting - he went from a political job (community organizer) to a political job (pro bono politicized work briefly at a law firm) to academia (professor) to a political job (Illinois representative, then immediately US Senator for a term, then President).
I don't see any racism in that. I see a resentment of someone who is a bit privileged, perhaps, but not racism.
