Amazing and horrible. It was the first time I traveled outside the U.S., so that was exciting. As was Edinburgh--beautiful city. Seeing Ben and Tim again was awesome, as was meeting Rebekah and Monique and all the others. Edinburgh Castle was great. And I met the most beautiful woman I ever saw at the Starbucks in the international terminal at the airport in Paris.
The horrible parts were when I got stuck in Amsterdam for a day, seriously injured my foot, and on both 8+ hour trans-Atlantic flights, there were children screaming almost non-stop.
In all, it was an adventure.
That's very good. But, I can't leave Wichita just yet. Maybe if I visit my niece in L.A., I can make a side trip to see you and John.
Ah, that. Since I wrote that, I crashed the truck and the insurance company totaled it. I had three payments to go. (See Journals for the whole story.)
I miss you, too. But, hey, that's how life goes. Still, maybe I'll come out to California soon.
I play air tambourine. Competitively.
