I have problems reading while distracted but I've never noticed an increased difficulty compared to any other task, maybe even less of one. Romance novels and magazines like Playboy or Maxim probably indicate reading ability isn't usually too impaired. It might make for a good study, stick text on various interesting and non-interesting background images, some overtly sexual, some cute, some surreal, some boring, etc and time how long it takes people to read them and how well they absorb the text. See if the scantily clad text results in scanty recall
