Our D looks a lot better this year, and the passing game is sound, if not outstanding.

Granted, saying our D is better isn't saying much, but it's not like the Broncos passing game disappeared with Cutler. We still have Marshall, Scheffler, Stokley and Scheffler, and the first and last of those are solid run blockers as well as quality receivers. To say our offense is one dimensional isn't fair at all; it may look that way because it's been so long since Denver's had a running game worthy of the name, but the offense is pretty solid, with several quality talents (though I do wish "Baby TO" didn't take the nickname to heart off the field; he's got better hands though. ) It's too soon to tell how good Orton can be now that he finally has pass protection worthy of the name, but the defense is seemingly much improved. It certainly doesn't run out of gas or give up easy plays like certain other defenses....
It's too soon to tell if Denvers D is for real, but if it is I don't think Dallas' third string back and Flozells penchant for penalties will move the ball effectively. If Romo has to put the game on his back it could get interesting, because the Broncos secondary isn't what it used to be, but Champ has made a career out of blanketing one wide out only to come off him when the pass is thrown and cross the field for a pick. Remember: Two thirds of the earth is covered by water; the rest is covered by Champ Bailey.
I actually think you're right, but that's because I'd have said Dallas by three rather than Denver, even at Mile High (though you should never underestimate the effects of 1) practicing in thin air year round and 2) playing in it for the only time all year. )
I listened to it on the radio in between breaks; at one point late in the second half one of the Cowboys commentator noted "y'know, Dallas is only up by six; it would be pretty sad if, after dominating Carolina all game, they suddenly looked up to see themselves trailing by one late. " That's not what happened, because the Panthers are a winless disaster this year, but Dallas should've put them away early. That's what good teams do; mediocre to bad teams let the opposition hang around and often live to regret it.
Which is usually the case but, as usual, you're making a very effective argument AGAINST your team, one very similar to mine.
We shall see. Again, I honestly think Dallas SHOULD win this game, and that's the way I'd bet. But it really all depends on whether your boys decide to show up for the game, which is a question every week, and one SOMEONE desperately needs to address before January.
They have a one dimensional offense and Dallas's defense has been pretty solid against the run. Even with the third string running back Dallas will be able to move the ball on the ground and they are missing the deep threat without TO but they can move the ball effectively in the air.

I think it will be a low scoring game but Dallas will cover the spread.

Not sure which game you watched on Monday but the Cowboys made some errors in th first half but they owned the second half.

When your teams only real chance is for the other team to play poorly you really shouldn't be too confident they are going to win. The Cowboys came out a little flat Monday but even then it was more mistakes on their part then anything the other team was doing that kept them from scoring in the first half.

If Barber is back you should just break out the tissues.
