Good list. I wish I'd have enough room for San Marzano and Roma.
Well, I've got only two balconies downtown, so a lot of things are out for me.
Tomatoes:
Chibbikko (Japanese)
Tzi Bi U (Chinese)
Jaune Flammée (southern France)
Yellow Banana and Lime Green Salad(midwest US)
Principe Borghese (Italian, for sun dried tomatoes)
12 planters total.
Peppers:
Chi-chien (Chinese)
Espelette (Pays Basque, to dry and grind)
Habanero, Jalapeno (Mexico)
Jwala (India, for Madras curries)
Pedron (Spain, to marinate with olives in oil for tapas and stuff)
Boldog (essentially to grind for Hungarian paprika)
Petit Marseillais (French, a little like scotch bonnet)
Shishito (Japanese)
Long Sweet (actually very hot. Thailand)
For herbs, I pretty much have all the European classics, plus Mexican and Vietnamese coriander, and japanese Shiso.
Then I confine myself to harder to find veggies/greens:
Mizuna, Mitsuba, Komatsuna, japanese ginger and bunching onions, Suhyo and Yamato cucumbers and Kamo eggplants.
For the rest, lots of flowers and stuff.
