I have read it. I did not think it was a good book (barring a 150-ish page chunk near the end that I found enjoyable), but I'm glad it's out of the way, and that the series is over. I'm also happy that Brandon Sanderson can return to his own works now. I'm greatly looking forward to the continuation of the Stormlight Archive series.
I finished Life of Pi today, which I wanted to read before seeing the movie. I was very pleased with the book, and exceptionally glad that I hadn't ever had the ending spoiled for me. I don't know that I've ever read an ending that so instantly made me reconsider everything that had happened in the book, and which so effectively threw the novel's true themes into relief. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. I'm also currently reading Changes, the twelfth Dresden Files book. The Dresden books are good fun. They have a few recurring ticks that bug me, but Jim Butcher is very good at stringing together tight, fun stories that build off everything that came before.
Oh, your heathen, cross-contaminating ways are well known to all now, I should think. I'm not really watching anything current at the moment. I've only been watching through the Mythbusters series, and slowly picking my way through House. But when they come back on, I will be watching Breaking Bad, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones (even though I was less than fully impressed by season two), and Sherlock. Most of my tv watching these days is devoted to baseball, because it helps me write. The games are three hours long, which is a good amount of time to spend writing each day.
