I was not trolling, but clarifying. Joel Send a noteboard - 11/03/2013 09:53:48 PM

I will not pretend I have never trolled the GOP (though never deliberately) but rarely so subtly. ;)

Joel- Quit poking at the republicans. This whole thread is barely more than trolling. Did you really expect it to have any outcome other than purposefully antagonising our conservatives?

Everyone else- Please refrain from responding in the future. Just let these posts wither and die at the bottom of the board.

Like I say, not trollying, just clarifying, or trying; it did not take long to descend to "well, it was not INHERENTLY doomed from the start; just inherently DOOMED from the start." And that is the synopsis of the ENLIGHTENED response. :[ Seriously, what do you want me to say? "I am sorry smart people keep saying stupid things and expecting no one to call them on it"? I am sorry in the sense I find it regrettable, but not in the sense I am responsible or accountable for it.

Even were that not all true, I have long and firmly believed in "trolling trolls," and the fractured fairytale that passes for most GOP fiscal policy these days qualifies. Sadly, the same applies to most current Dem fiscal policy, but one problem at a time. ;) It was always absurd to hear Republicans warn we could not allow universal healthcare lest we end up with the impoverished socialist misery prevailing throughout the entire rest of the industrialized world. To hear them now insist our laissez-faire system has achieved so much more that we cannot afford universal healthcare OR social security is beyond the pale. If we "outperform" the wicked penurious socialists much more we will have to get rid of overtime pay, too.

LoL. Be well, RAFOlk.
Oh, look, House Republicans are trying to do just that; shocking.

It's the world's greatest Ponzi scheme, since the government forces us to give money to it. - 01/03/2013 01:05:05 PM 740 Views
Yes, "government forcing people to give money" defines a Ponzi; speeding tickets are Ponzis. - 01/03/2013 03:53:02 PM 866 Views
