1. How often do you update?
Depends on the day. Sometimes multiple times, sometimes I'm surprised I don't get "nudged". I'd say... 1-10, 10 being a very active day.
2. What's your username (if you want to give it out)?

3. What keeps you going back? There's really not much to do on it that you can't do on most sites out there.
I use it for promotion, mostly, or just a place to blather some of my random thoughts (read: complaints, often about traffic), or let friends know what's going on at the moment. Occasionally I share a link or two. Twitter is my "I feel better about myself because I have many followers" way of promoting my jewelry, as opposed to maintaining a page on Facebook. I can upload images of new work to my dA account and promote them on Twitter. It's all about shorthand and the fact that I'm lazy. I'm not addicted to posting or clicking links to fascinating stories and crap, I'm not a power promoter, I'm just a person looking to expand the possible pool of people who might buy my jewelry.
