9/11 is a totally different type of event, one that is rare, and isolated, and therefore clearly terrible because it stands in contrast to what an ordinary day would have been like.


I think your definition of normal is skewed. And no, I don't believe that the use of violence in the real world is good, ever. I think it is justifiable at times, like it was in this story, but much like the death of bin Laden, it isn't something I will actively celebrate.
