How important is handwriting?
Very
Do you remember learning to write?
Not really
At what age did you learn cursive?
I don't recall.
Do you feel it is relevant in today's curriculum?
Yes I do. There are many instances when a person must write by hand, for instance birthday cards, a quick note to family/roommates/co-workers...plus there are times when a hand written letter/note is more appropriate, more personal than something typed; not only that but there are times when a person must fill out official documents by hand. When David and I filled out our divorce papers in twothousandsomething we had to fill out the paperwork by hand.
Personally I have terrible handwriting skills but I do catch myself admiring others writing and wishing mine was prettier.
Thanks
You are welcome. *hugs*
