Hey folksicles,
The Edinburgh Meet 2012 is rapidly approaching, and we've people coming from far and wide to take part in a day of frolics and festivities!
Attendees:
* Palatine
* Monique
* Zeebmeister
* Legolas
* Sports_Gambler
* Mary
* Tim
* Rebekah
* Wibble
* Me!
There are a few others on the "maybe" list too.
The plan:
Yes, the plan. Erm. Plan. Right. Well, most folks will be arriving into Edinburgh early afternoon on Saturday 8th Dec (around 1.30pm), so I figure we can get together at my flat for a good old gathering style natter at, say, 2pm onwards. Once we've had our fill of awkward silences, we'll head out for some tasty grub and beverages of some sort around 5ish, to be back at mine to kick the party off properly around 8ish.
Sunday (the 9th) is vague. Sunday is very likely to be blurry and slightly headachey. As some of our party will be departing on Sunday afternoon, we'll probably head up into Edinburgh center for around midday, get some tasty breakfast (high likelihood of bacon and haggis), then mosey about taking in the awesome architecture, dazzling history, and amazing beauty of the Old Town until it's time for folks to head off. Those who are still around can continue to be awed/dazzled/amazed/etc.
Sooo, yes. That's the plan, that I've just made up. Good job, Ben.
Any questions, let me know. If you want to have the time of your life and join us on our magical and mysterious adventure, let me know.

I like this plan. It's suitably unambitious. Company + alcohol = fun, every time. *NM*
