One of my favorite things... PhotoJim Send a noteboard - 29/09/2009 07:19:09 PM
Some days as I start to become awake I don't know what is real. I've just been living in the most amazing dream world and it all feels so real. But I know there is another world just on the other side of consciousness. I feel like I have to re-order reality and decide which way to go before becoming fully awake. Sometimes I take parts of the dreams and they become memories of things that really happened. Or at least to me they did.

The first time I caught myself doing this was when I was telling mom about a time I was fishing with my dad and Pappy Day (maternal grandfather). I remember the trip vividly to this day even though I was only eight at the time. Both my parents assure me that that particular fishing weekend was cancelled due to flooding. Are they sure? Yep.

Did we ever have an alligator trapped in the closet when we lived on North Main Street? Are you sure? But I used to have to go buy rats from the grocery store to feed him! Are you sure? OK, I believe you.

Now if I think about these things, I know they never happened. But the memories are still there.

There is a girl I dream about sometimes. Not all the time, but a few times a year. This has been going on for at least 20 years. I don't know who she is. I swear I've never met her before. Some day I'll meet this woman in the real world. Boy will my wife be pissed.
Everybody was Kung Fu fighting!

Not to be rude but who are you? And I suppose equally important, where are we?
