We usually get about two weeks of decent, sunny weather with clear skies with the rest of the year being grey and the temperature wavering by about 15-20 degrees with the occassional rainy day punctuating the monotony.
GOOD!
Well, we are probably the closest we have ever been to actually permitting it. 20 years back there was a High Court case where the outcome was the State couldn't penalise women for travelling abroad for abortions, and that the government has to legislate for abortion in limited circumstances. The first part happened but we still aren't allowing it. The one plus sign is that earlier in the year an anti-abortion group called Youth Defense ran a large, specious anti-abortion campaign that was rightly criticised by most sectors of society. It prompted a lot of debate and the fallout has been there is more support for abortion than many people would like you to believe. We still have the problem that of the major political parties only Labour do not predominantly and incessantly try to appeal first and foremost to Catholic voters. All in all, I think we might see some sizeable change in the next 4-5 years but not nay time sooner.
It's all I can do to keep myself from turning on Christmas music* and finding some lights. ^-^
Control yourself woman!
I AM!
GOOD!
About thirteen degrees, grey cloudy skies.
Same.
Interesting.
*I have rules.
Good. Unfortunately the radio people don't. I heard Christmas music around three days back.
Bleck. Though I heard you guys are currently attacking abortion and stuff. Maybe they are trying to re-Christianize the country?

7 degrees C, and dry. It's not really been very cold yet here, nevermind snow. *NM*
