If she does the full eight years as Secretary of State, the way she's doing it now, she'll have more relevant experience than most other candidates, the public will have had more time to forget about her less popular actions during Bill's presidency, and she'd have semi-incumbency advantage as long as Biden doesn't run as well. And there'll be still more desire then to have a female candidate, and she's the only real option on the Democratic side.

She's off - I think it was announced a while ago but got buried under the election stuff. Three years to carefully get ready for her bid for the White House (I'd imagine being Secretary of State would be a hindrance when trying to find the time to campaign in the primaries then election?)

Snowe? Seriously? Chris Christie is far more likely. - 07/11/2012 09:52:25 PM 798 Views
Chris Christie *was* far more likely. I expect his party to eat him alive after Sandy. - 07/11/2012 09:59:17 PM 956 Views
Yes, but Christie gained the respect of a lot of moderates for that. - 07/11/2012 10:20:08 PM 788 Views
Moderates don't vote in the primaries *NM* - 07/11/2012 10:21:50 PM 428 Views
Enough of them vote to ensure a Christie victory in a GOP primary. - 08/11/2012 05:09:24 AM 773 Views
