But if you are christian and you accept the stories of the bible to be true...
Didn't God rape the Virgin Mary?
I am not saying that Mary did not have joy when the angel came to her to tell her not to be afraid. But this happens after the immaculate conception. In a sense Mary is at peace on having a rape baby for this baby will be the son of god.
-------------------------------------------
So if Mary accepted having a rape baby, doesn't it follow some very religious people who are political such as a tea party senate candidate from indiana, thinks women should carry rape pregnancies to term since Mary did it. This is all part of god plan and all that.
-------------------------------------------
Runs away before I am burned by dragonfire...on another note which is worse dragonfire or balefire?

Else she would not have remained a virgin and Isaiahs virgin birth prophecy would remain unfulfilled. There is nothing noteworthy in sex causing pregnancy. Incidentally, the Roman Catholic doctrine of Immaculate Conception refers not to its manner, but the belief it made Mary sinless—retroactively—through Christs perfection.
