Neat, but didn't National Geographic get fooled by a "winged dinosaur" a while back?

I want to say it was Archaeopteryx, but don't quote me on that. Anyway, they published an issue with some crazy new type of dinosaur on the cover, and then in the next issue printed a three-page apology because they found out some redneck farmer (or the Chinese equivalent of same) had found three different fossils and glued them together. Talk about egg on your face. Anyway... just a thought.

It's suggesting they used the rear two for lift, just little winglets.
