RT did provide an example of what he was talking about. Biden contradicted Obama's "no coal" pledge. - Edit 2

Biden also contradicted Obama's comments on gay marriage not so long ago, triggering a change in position by the administration, and then further refinements as they looked for the center, just as Romney is doing. I support Obama, but Romney is hardly the only candidate in this race who is adapting to what's politically convenient. I don't begrudge it of either of them, so long as they strive to keep their latest promises and don't drop them simply because they are no longer politically necessary after being voted in. It is a good thing to strafe to the center if it is due to a recognition of the center's priorities. Romney was losing, so he was clearly wrong about the center's priorities -- he would be a poor leader if he did not change his positions. My only concern is whether he'd keep his promises. I doubt both of them in that regard, but Obama somewhat less, not because he is more trustworthy, but because his latest promises are closer to what his base wants.
