This story ain't over yet. - Edit 2

The biggest problem with Camp X-Ray and its successors were the human rights violations, and I am not aware of any under Obama. That does not change his failure to close the camps as promised in 2008, but does mitigate it somewhat. Believe it or not, most people opposed letting accused terrorist run free; we just did not want the entire population of Afghanistan and Iraq "presumed terrorist until proven innocent" or abused in US custody. The biggest remaining issue is that they are "person"s and therefore constitutionally entitled to due process, but we are back to the same old thing: Are you really advocating trials for accused terrorists, or just looking for a reason to bust Obamas chops?

View original postUntil Obama took over of course then the stories stopped. Funny how that works. Doubt we will seem many stories from either about Obama claiming racism was a factorin Katrina aid either.

Show me a single invocation of racism anywhere in Obamas 2007 speech. It was covered to the extent relevant (which is not much) during his '08 campaign; if Republicans think a re-tread of the '08 campaign favors them, they are welcome to try it.
