Both ran stories on the White Houses changing Benghazi narrative. Not on page A53 either: The Times story was page one. This could yet be Obamas October Surprise. Romney caught flak for rushing a political response, but the GENEROUS explanation for the White House blaming the attack on the anti-Muslim film is that they did not know any better. The less charitable more suspicious view is they knew otherwise but misled the public and Congress to conceal they missed signs of a terrorist attack.
