Oh, and the one Ref who was urging on one of the players to do better to help his fantasy team.
I missed that one, unless it was the same ref who called the Saints game after posting all the FB pics of himself in Saints gear. Moral: NEVER use you real name on FB; I am not saying employers and law enforcement will not find you anyway, but there is no sense making it easy for them.

So, anyway, how are things? What goes on these days? Thoughts on the latest biannual dog and pony show? Have you returned to run RAFO Chat? *runs*
Goes well enough. It's been a fun year with my second real globetrotting - went to NZ for two weeks, ran a marathon on the Inca Trail in Peru this past July. Otherwise, just in the normal grind. Yourself?
Also, I may be gone by tomorrow. Just occurred to me to swing by because I decided to marathon WoT on principle now that it's basically finished - I'll have a good 5 or so books at the end which will be new to me
Seriously, NFL owners. Pay the refs.

I have seen no difference in the quality of officiating over the past two weeks.

They are so well compensated they work full time jobs all year; they are not coming back for less.

Agreed; even as a Denver fan I was disgusted they marked off the wrong yardage on that penalty.

Exactly. 10 yards for a 5 yard penalty is inexcusable

I do not fault our D for last nights performance; they played outstandingly well.

My favorite one was week 1 where the Seahawks got 4 timeouts.

Another reason for the regular refs: They do not hero worship star players.

they have no respect because the NFL is not really enforcing the "respect the refs" rules
