I have little need of any smartphone, but the FoxConn stories preclude me ever buying that one. - Edit 1

Outsourcing US production is one thing, but sending it to a contractor that cancels locals schools to bus in the kids as workers under penalty of not getting their diploma, and where employees regularly jump off the roof because conditions are so bad... sorry, I just do not need a smartphone that badly. That is not a knock on anyone who buys an iPhone (my wife got one for Christmas the year before last,) because Apple does not exactly promote those stories. It is just a matter of getting the word out and explaining why I, personally, feel like I would be subsidizing their practices if I bought their phone knowing what I know. If loss of sales caused them to treat their employees like human beings, that would, of course, change.
