Any bills they wrote and passed are primarily on them, even if signed by Bush.

Do you have any laws in mind, or is this just the standard "past Dem transgressions justify even the worst Republican ones"? I still do not get that mindset, as if a schoolkid said, "Johnny called me a doody-head, so it is OK for me to burn down his house with his family inside."
Not that Clinton is off the hook; he could (and should) have vetoed Gramm-Leach-Billey just as he could and should have vetoed the NAFTA and WTO, though the bulk of responsibility still lies with the Republicans who wrote and passed, not the Democrat who signed them. I also do not know where you get the idea I am a fan of the Republican-Lite, New Left Third Way (or No Left No Way) Dems who destroyed FDR and Jeffersons Party. My disgust with them is why I backed Obama over Hillary, and my him turning out to be just a less experienced version of her disgusts me also. Unfortunately, it is that or another trickle down disaster, so there we are.
