No, as juveniles? jh Send a noteboard - 28/09/2009 08:42:42 PM
If, according to you, even an 18 year old can't make good decisions by himself, why would the legal age of being tried as an adult be over 15?

Perhaps you should investigate that statement again.

Public health care wouldn't make personal information more private. Private health care ensures much, much more privacy than public health care. It's the difference between having my info in a national database and having it only at a local hospital.

Meh. Public Health Care works perfectly when it comes to privacy. It works so well that when I go to another hospital, they can't pull my files from my regular one.

"A child cannot understand the concept of sex and an animal cannot give consent." Well, of course an animal can't give consent- it's an ANIMAL! That's like saying owning a cow is slavery, and eating it is murder. I don't have a problem with banning bestiality, but doing it on consent/cruelty grounds seems pretty silly.

Umm. Is there any other grounds to do it on?

You seem very against a centralized, over-powerful EU, yet advocate those same things for Sweden itself.

A driving age of 20 just seems ridiculous to me- when I was 17, I easily juggled school, work, and a personal life. I'm not particularly special, either- many do that at a younger age. None of that would have been possible without a car. In a city, perhaps it would, but suburbs don't have the same convenient transportation options cities do.

well driving age at the moment is 18... Also, you tend to apply a certain amount of americanisms on everything in this thread, which essentially is about as sensible as saying we can't live on earth since there is no air on mars...

So... brains aren't fully developed until 20, but 16 year olds should be tried as adults? - 28/09/2009 07:30:49 PM 386 Views
