What I'm reading in the media seems very split. Laughably so. Some people think he sounded disjointed and a little wacko, and the other side said it was fun and interesting, if unplanned.

At least not for content; flying him in to speak at the RNC is a bit absurd after the Hell Republicans raised over his Chrysler ad "endorsing" Obama. Regarding the speech itself, I heard little to criticize and do not know what people expected. If Eastwood were a policy wonk none but policy wonks would want to hear him.
