Time marches ever onwards, and yet still with every tick of the clock I do not feel dramatically older, or even slightly wiser for my troubles.
Yeah, I've noticed this. Although I'm finally starting to feel some of my years. I get called more "ma'am" than "young lady" anymore.
I just passed into my 36th year on the planet Earth, yet for the better part of the past decade my life has remained relatively static. I believe this is what leads people into mid-life crises ... and yet, still, that does not spur me on to any sort of desire for change. Life, while not always good, is sure better than the alternative.
I'm pretty happy with my status quo, although I'm a little depressed at the thought of how many years of working still lie ahead of me considering the number of years worked I've already logged.
So how are things in Jack-landâ„¢? I hear fabric softener sheets in the dryer can really help with the 'cling' factor.
Pepper spray works pretty well too.
Hope all is well for you and the family,
