Good old Loud-mouth made a joke the other night about the Colorado shooting. Went something like "the movie sucked anyway, I bet there was a guy sitting in the theater wishing someone would blow his brains out."
The audience was mixed but mostly positive, and in my opinion, the joke is mild. What bugged me was his prompt apology afterward. It wasn't a big deal but he seemed like he was trying to make it bigger.
Nobody likes an attention whore, and damn it if I didn't already think I detested this guy as much as I could.
Side point: let comedians tell jokes. Don't hold them to the same standard as a senator. Remember te 9/11 jokes? If we couldn't refrain then...

Eh, if comedians want to be exceptional, then they should show a higher responsibility.
