Gymnastics is always fun to watch. Cycling normally has a few good moments, though I spent most of the road race scratching my head trying to figure out if Germany and Australia had any tactic other than not letting the UK win Shame Cancellara hurt himself, and shame a previous drug cheat won.
agreed on all that - the Australians had more of an excuse because O'Grady was in the break but I think Goss in a group sprint had more chance than O'Grady who had been riding hard in a break all day. Both of them preferred to miss out on the medals rather than risk Cavendish win the gold.
I think I would have preferred anyone in the breakaway over vino to win - shame when he pretended to retire to try and dodge a long ban he didn't actually mean it.
