The two segments with kids, younger in beds and older in the pop/digital world, are both typical and have been done before. They also seemed small and more appropriate for a stage show.

The individual torches becoming the cauldron was wonderful and definitely the highlight of the opening ceremony - however, this made up about 10 minutes of the 4 hours, so.....

I will remember the unique cauldron from last night, but nothing else.
