The simple fact that they are pissed means he failed regardless of how justified or unjustified the anger is. I won't even try to defend it that point I was simply curious if the outrage was really as high as the morning cable guys seemed to making it out to be and if so why. My personal belief is that you are correct most don't care and once the ceremonies start tonight (have they started already) the last thing on 99.9% of the British people's mind will be Mitt Romney. I did have a chance to look at the BBC website and the Romney isn't on the front page anywhere.
