Apparently, one of the people killed in this theatre also happened to be at the Eaton Centre in Toronto on June 2 of this year, where a gunman opened fire on a crowd, and had just left the building before that shooting started.

I don't mean to make any sort of light of this, but I smell an X-File.

Seriously though, that's terrible and senseless and sad and stupid. And a little scary, because a movie theatre is almost a perfect place for something like that, and you worry that other terrible and senseless and sad and stupid people might get the same idea.

I also wonder how hard it is to kick in an emergency exit door. I would have thought something like that would be sturdier.
