It sounds like Cockney or London lower class speech - the way Sascha Baron Cohen talks when he is Ali G comes to mind. It's decidedly NOT Received Pronunciation, and it's not correct according to American pronunciation, either. Yod coalescence, dark Ls and a whole host of other defective speech patterns must be removed from the language as quickly as possible.
I've worked hard to remove that from my speech when I'm speaking as a teacher, but damn if sometimes it doesn't slip back in when talking to family.
But I don't elide the -g in -ing, thankfully or add an 'r' in the middle of 'wash'
