bench is the english chunky show lab, they are lunkheaded and sweet... a field lab is the american hunting lab. they are made to run alllllll day and they don't slow down until they're pretty much dead. seriously, don't get one in an apt. also, when you say adult dog, this means 4-5yrs+, nothing under 4! under 4 is still adolescent which would be an utter nightmare for your situation.
