Hubby's gone all fitness crazy
and has us signed up for a 5.30am! Beach bootcamp. That means sand (groan).
This is after a week of 'Spartan', circuit training, boxing.
I do need to get fit. I really do. We both do.
The trouble is...I am on holidays and all of this exercise is making me HUNGRY! Sad to say, I have been eating up a storm!

I changed the way I prepare foods (mostly bake them instead of frying meats) and the portions (cut the intake down by 25% or so).
I walk for around 75-90 minutes 6x/week at about 6 km/hr.
I lift weights for 30-45 minutes 3-4x/week in a local gym before or after the walking.
So I end up burning somewhere around 3000-3500 calories a day while I try to limit my intake to 2000-2500, which leads to roughly 1 kg loss a week. Some weeks, especially in the beginning, it was higher.
Oh, and I forgot. I rarely drink anything other than water and I have very few sugary items to eat.

You do actually need to eat more when exercising to get any effect, but you probably need water
