We did not stay long, mercifully. I doubt we would have tuned in at all, except some sun-bathing friends mentioned it when we stopped off to visit on our way back from catch in the park. Unsurprisingly, football>Eurovision; Lene wore out quickly, but when some nearby Swedes asked to borrow the ball, they got me, too, and I got to catch some passes from farther away than ten feet. I missed my chance to explain how a Norwegian (probably the most famous football player/coach except (maybe) Jim Thorpe) invented the revolutionary spiral grip/throw still standard a century later. Maybe tomorrow; two of those guys were making some very nice throws (good distance, tight spiral; clearly had had a fair amount of practice) but the others were throwing wounded ducks, and one requested a tutorial (biggest thing he needs is to get his hips into it and follow through instead of trying to use just his arm and push the ball from behind it.)

So, yeah, um, Eurovision... I got nothin'. We missed Norways entry by about half an hour, but as long as it is not an African-Norwegian song sung in English, I am sure it is better than last years offering.
