Although I'm not a junior sailor anymore. 
Reminded me of a sailor joke my father told me once.
A 2nd Class Petty Officer is walking on an Army base, when he passes an Army Colonel.
He salutes the Colonel and greets him, "Good Morning, Colonel."
The Colonel returns his salute and replies, "Good Morning, Sergeant."
The Petty Officer stops and says to the Colonel, "With all due respect, sir, I'm in the Navy. I'm a Petty Officer 2nd Class."
The Colonel scoffs and says, "You know what I mean. If you were in the Army you would be a Sergeant."
The Petty Officer looks the Colonel in the eye and responds, "Sir, with all due respect, if I were in the Army, I would be a Colonel."
