Ended up with a bit less than US$40k Floffe Send a noteboard - 01/05/2012 09:26:39 PM
Just wondering, my last 2 hires are great young professionals and both are saddled with over $100K in debt.....and one just got her BS (the other has a BS and MBA). This is crazy. So, a few questions for the RAFO crew:

1. How much debt did you accumulate while in college (or are tracking to accumulate for you current students)?

See title
2. What are your loan terms? How long and how much per month?

All has to be paid off in 25 years after I stopped studying, that means 22 years from now. I pay a little less than SEK 1000 ($150) per month, which will slowly rise until the time is up. The last year I'll pay more like SEK1500 per month.
3. What was your major/area of study?

Master of Education in Chemistry and Maths. Started out with the subjects and hopped on the education part later on.
4. If you had a chance to do everything again (school, major, debt amount), would you? What would you have changed, if anything?

Yeah, more or less the same
