My point is totally independent of the Church/State issue, the Catholic Church position or anything else aside from the question of whether insurance companies, as a matter of policy, should be forced to cover drugs that are not being used to treat medical conditions.
Do you agree they should cover drugs that are used for prevention? Because last time I checked, pregnancy is a medical condition- and it's one that costs a shit ton of money, especially if the pregnancy wasn't planned. Which for me is kind of the point. Wouldn't you rather see BC and hell, even abortion, covered by the state if it means you didn't have to pay for someone's entire childhood instead?
