This one deals with games but the principle is easily transferred to music, movies etc. Itunes and Spotify have been successful because it lowered $T and $P (and obviously $I) enough to make them worth the extra $M spent compared to piracy (for music). What we're waiting for is the movie industry to find a similar balance, and not annoy people with compulsory trailers, region-locking etc.
