I understand perfectly well all of the reasons people have for avoiding jury duty. It is nevertheless a very important responsibility that many people selflessly accept. So I am happy to give thanks to those who allow their lives to be disrupted so they can serve the rest of us when they are called. I am likewise annoyed at those that scoff at it.
A little learning is a dangerous thing.
