Excepting those private schools that focus on something (like religion) such that they may under-serve something else, a private school should be better than a public one. Why else would anyone go to it?

Plus, there's the general mismanagement that seems to be inherent in public instituitions that weakens those schools' effectiveness.

Frankly, I thought this all plainly obvious.


The public school systems also spend more time lowering standards than trying to bring up the abilities of the lower groups. That is the end result of a lot of programs.
