I don't care if you hate it, I'm still wishing you a happy day. Care to share what (if anything) you have planned?

We're just staying in and making dinner, which is nice. :)

My plans were to attend tonights norsk kurs before coming home to pork chops and rice all smothered in mushroom sauce, courtesy of my wife, who surely regrets deeply by now making that the first dinner she ever served me, as she has since found it inescapable. Oh, and homemade cupcakes. That was about it, really; very similar to what ya'll did from the sound of things, but with more Dr. Pepper and probably less Guinness. :P She got her chocolate, rose and oven mitt (very romantic, but I ruined the old one a couple weeks ago) yesterday.

Hope ya'll had a nice one. :)

EDIT: Oh, and according to the handout in tonights norsk kurs, Valentines Day is a holiday observed in Algo-American countries and France, plus Scandinavia more recently, whose celebration began in sixteenth century Britain. I am uncertain how they reconcile that statement with the other one synopsizing the story of St. Valentine and noting his martyrdom was in the third century. :P
