1. Do you believe your political party is ALWAYS right?

Gods no.
I can't remember a time when I didn't see a party as the lesser evil. I.e. Thank fuck Labour won when when they did before the Tories fucked up the country more than they did. Sadly for all the great promise they showed they acted as Tory Lite (a few men and women of principle aside). And the Lib Dems always have some great policies but in a "no on will ever actually elect us so we can promise anything" kinda way... which sadly seems to be working for David "I don't care what you want from me, I'll act like I back it" Cameron. I can only suggest you refer to the linked song....

2. a) If so, why? b) If not, where do you think your political party is/has been wrong?

May have started to get in to that above:P
To be honest though, I think the UK has suffered nadly mostly from two things.
1) Thatcherism - if she'd stayed in power for 4(ish) years, she would have done wonders for the country. She instead did the best she could to destory the fabric of out society for herwhole time in office and has been hero worship ever since, by people who tend to ignore the realities)
2) A party staying in power for more than six or seven years in out systemis bankrupt. It is that simple - I think the Tories taking power at the next election will be a disaster, one that would only be exceeded by Labour retaining power. My fondest hope is that the Tories don't screw up the country too badly before either Labour or the Lib Dems can replace them at the following election.

3. Do you think that partisan politics have become too contentious?

I think it has made this place much more entertaining - I like playing "guess who will agree/ disagree based on the party behind it"
I like laughing at the morons linke Gleison (whatever ironic name he became), Calonni, Dartboard etc. They are great:D

Robert Graves "There is no money in poetry, but then there is no poetry in money, either."

Henning Mankell "We must defend the open society, because if we start locking our doors, if we let fear decide, the person who committed the act of terror will win"
