The investigation by Congress is well-known to be specious. It's the House GOP abusing their power. *NM* Dreaded Anomaly Send a noteboard - 03/02/2012 12:41:58 AM
Someone said something about this organization suing others that use the colour pink in their fight against breast cancer; in that case, I'd hate to be the one who breaks the news to them that the colour pink is associated with the battle against breast cancer in Europe as well, but I doubt anyone (except perhaps other breast cancer charities) has ever heard of Susan G. Komen.

But since it seems to be such a big name, I'm inclined to agree with Ray and say breaking with PP is probably the smartest move. It's also a lame move, but then perhaps it's not a charity's business to make a big deal out of avoiding lameness.

Incidentally, I don't find the policy of cutting funds to anyone under investigation by Congress so unlikely or suspicious at all. As a big politically neutral charity, it only makes sense to have some sort of policy about not donating to organizations that are too politically loaded or controversial, and the investigation by Congress criterion is almost a no-brainer as criteria for that go.
