I enjoyed your post. It was very clear that these were your personal opinions, born out of experience & preference. People reacted to the phrasing I think "Do this. Don't do this." rather than what you actually meant. And I'd rather people share their own opinions/experiences with as much honesty as you did, than criticize you. And the personal attacks are entirely uncalled for.

It did spark some interesting side conversations, I'll be sure to chime in later.


Yeah in hindsight I shouldn't have said "Do this. Don't do this." I should have just related it to my own personal observations instead of making it sound like a set of instructions. I guess some people don't like to even be quasi-told want to do.
