They actually even have good articles for lots of geek stuff that is still current. On the other hand, don't expect a great article on, say, Johnny Quest or Gunsmoke. Of course, I have to say that I usually look at Russian wikipedia for Russian things, but it's better than a lot of other wikipediae.
