I don't really give a damn what happens to the Taliban, they deserve no sympathy, nor even air, considering their own actions over the years, even discounting the civilian deaths this is a group which has made it clear they don't give a damn if their actions offend, I still remember when their petty little regime blew up that ancient statue of Buddha, a vicious and petty act beyond urinating on a corpse. So fuck 'em. Regarding the specific action though, in modern times soldiers are supposed to have brains, and beyond jokes like M.A.R.I.N.E. - Muscles Are Required, Intelligence Not Expected, these guys should know better than to do that. It gains us nothing and could harm the cause, so doing it is no better than torching a Koran. At least if you stick dead enemies heads on spikes it might serve as a grim reminder of consequences, very few people will decide not to be our enemies out of fear that someone might piss on them after killing them. I don't really give a damn though about International Sentiment, most people who offer International Sentiment or wail about US atrocities are unrealistic and looking for any excuse to criticize us, in my opinion, and will always find it, so we shouldn't try to jump through hoops for them. Were these uniformed troops of a proper enemy, I'd have nasty words for those who did this, but I don't in this case beyond 'that thing on top of your shoulders is for thinking with', they definitely don't deserve applause either. It is a petty action beneath the dignity of the uniform they wear or the nation they serve.
