Ever read anyone out of the Kyoto School like Keiji Nishitani? He did Religion and Nothingness.

Curious to see how you took it, if you read it. It's one of my favorite contemporary books on both Comparative Religion and Speculative Philosophy. I don't know how far you get into the latter, though.
I like the whole "Fuckin' Sale" part, but the more I read, the more I think to myself, "Oh, it's just the Japanese being weird in a not-so-good way". I end the fuckin' log thinking that I'm glad I never spent any appreciable time on the Japanese language.
Another fuckin' language log!

Japan manages to hit the right line between weird and offensive that they actually turn me off.
