So, 2012 will be interesting. I have been involved in local politics and now will be taking over as Mayor. Our former Mayor was "promoted" to a county-level position and I was selected as his replacement.
I'm hoping to post from time-to-time on how things are going (and yes, I am a quasi-regular member from the old wotmania days, but now using a new username). The position is very part-time, so I will be continuing on with my business career.
I live in the Tri-State NYC area and my town consists of 23,000 residents and 34 square miles!
Hopefully I don't screw up things too badly.....wish me luck!
