1. If you could change one thing about your body with "magic" what would you change?
Most likely I would make a lot of expensive dental work unnecessary.
That seems like a good idea.
Consensus achieved.
2. What is your favourite energy drink, if you have one?
Um... does Dr. Pepper count?
Sure.
Then we will go with that.
Oki
3. Do you watch any talk shows, if so which ones?
Heavens, no.
Oki.
All good.
4. Would you rather be a succubus or a vampire?
Probably a vampire; succubi have sex with men.
hehehe true
Consensus maintained.
5. Rhubarb pie or minced meat pie?
Minced meat, I think, though I prefer pumpkin or apple.
interesting.
Nothing fascinates like pie.
Very true. I had minced meat pie for lunch. Going to have taco pie for dinner. Mostly minced meat in that too, but different spices and stuff.
Right. Tomorrow is SUPPOSED to be Taco Night here, but I have been threatened with some weird stuff called "risengrynsgrøt." It looks suspiciously like grits.
6. Which, if any, is your favourite Star Trek series?
Tough one, but I think I will go with TOS, because without it we would not have the rest.
I see. That's the only one I can't stand
There is still time to see the light. I am a bit surprised you like Enterprise though; I thought I was the only who did.
I like Enterprise. I found it rather interesting. My favourite episode is probably about the vulcans crashing on earth. So they have to hide there until they get rescued.
Yeah, that was a nice one, playing the "must not interfere with history" game their whole lives, and developing a begrudging appreciation for humanity (as most Vulcan seem to inevitably do; humans are so awesome, y'know. ) The back story elements of Enterprise were very interesting; I probably would have appreciated it more if copyright issues I never fully understood had not prevented them using T'pau as a main character instead of T'pol (then they FURTHER confused the issue by bringing in T'pau for a few episodes ANYWAY.) In many ways Enterprise was closer to the "wagon train to the stars" roots of the TOS than any of the successors. The technology was usually incidental to the plot, no more than facilitating seat of your pants frontier exploration and encounters where the crew won through by determination and improvisation rather than Picard and Siskos technologically driven diplomacy and subtlety.
7. Do you like playing games, if so please give an example of a game or games you like?
Sure, I like many kinds of games. Speaking of which, thanks for sending me Baldur's Gate; the nostalgia quotient was very high there. If you have not yet, you should definitely play the sequel, which adds many of the AD&D 2nd ed. rules not implemented for the first one (e.g. class kits, weapon styles and dual wielding.) I recently found out there is still a VERY active BG modding community, which, in addition to many other mods, has furnished:
np
Looking forward to resuming SoA now that the last norsk kurs and the online AI class are done. I strongly recommend those mods; like a whole new game.
1) A mod for BG that allows it to be played with the BG II engine (so kits, weapon styles and dual wielding are available for the first game.)
2) A mod for both games that allows them to be played as a single game from 1st level in Candlekeep through TotSC, SoA and all the way to ToB.
BG with the BG II engine is NICE, and I no longer have to retcon my characters from BG I when I start BG II.
Additional recommended retro PC gaming: Star Control I&II and the Mechwarrior series.
As you might have guessed from my love of BG and Mechwarrior, I am also a great fan of tabletop RPGs. Bridge is also excellent, Spades less so, as well as 42 (a trick taking dominoes game largely unknown outside TX) and regular dominoes.

My mommy sent me dominoes for Christmas, too; there will be much bone playing.
Sounds fun.
Fer sure. *nods*
8. What is the worst thing you have ever tasted?
In terms of food? Lutefisk ain't great (sorry.)
I hate all fish myself.
In this case I think it is just the preparation; I suspect it is an acquired taste. I will stick with cornmeal-breaded and deep fried catfish. *noms*
I'll stick with ham, sausage, meatballs and some other meats for Christmas
Also good choices.
9. How are your dreams?
Disturbing.
They can be that.
Indeed.
10. How are you?
Well, thanks; yourself?
I'm oki thanks.
Excellent.
11. Those Boys and Girls, in Canvas, Who stay upon the Wall, In Everlasting Keepsake, Can Anybody tell?
Um... maybe...?
I dunno. I took it from a poem by Emily Dickinson
An interesting and talented, if somewhat gloomy, woman.
True. I have her comlete poems, I like reading in it now and then.
Don't blame you.
12. What is Love?
A many splendored thing?
I see.
You would not have enjoyed my other answer, so I went with the obvious.
I'm still not sure I believe in love. I almost had a blind date a while ago. But I never dared go.
"Faint heart never won fair maiden," I have heard, and also "he who hesitates is lost." No one ever gained anything staying home (trust me. )
13. Do you like Ballons?
Yes, but I could never eat a whole one.
half a balloon?
Hmmm... can I get in a doggy bag? We just had dinner. ' />
Sure.
Consensus continued.
Honorbound and honored to be Bonded to Mahtaliel Sedai
